Privacy Policy
Last updated: 31 August 2026
This policy explains what information Vessent Consulting collects through vessent.app, why we collect it, and the choices you have. It applies to website visitors and to prospective clients who contact us about an engagement.
1. Information we collect
We collect the details you submit to us directly: your name, work email, company, role, deal stage, and anything you write in a message or enquiry form. If you request a sample audit framework, we record the email address you provide so we can send it.
We also receive standard technical data from your browser, such as IP address, device and browser type, referring page, and pages viewed. This is used to keep the site secure and to understand which content is useful.
2. How we use information
We use the information to respond to enquiries, assess engagement fit, prepare scopes and proposals, deliver contracted work, and send material you have asked for. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use enquiry data for unrelated advertising.
3. Confidential engagement material
Diligence work involves sensitive material: source code, architecture documentation, cloud configuration, contracts, and financial context. Material shared with us during an engagement is handled under the confidentiality terms of the relevant engagement letter or non-disclosure agreement, which take precedence over this policy where they differ.
Access is limited to the practitioners staffed on your engagement. We do not reuse client material in other engagements or in public writing without written permission.
4. Service providers
We rely on third-party providers for website hosting, email, scheduling, and document storage. These providers process data on our behalf and are bound to use it only for the services they supply to us.
5. Retention
Enquiry records are kept for as long as needed to evaluate and follow up on a potential engagement, and afterwards for our business records. Engagement material is retained or returned and destroyed according to the terms agreed in the engagement letter.
6. Your choices
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop sending you material. Contact us and we will action reasonable requests, aside from records we are required to keep.
7. Cookies
The site uses only the cookies and local storage needed for the pages to function and for basic, aggregated usage measurement. You can block cookies in your browser settings, though parts of the site may then behave unexpectedly.
8. Contact
Questions about this policy can be sent through the contact form on our home page, and we will respond within one business day.
